About

I am a Radical Feminist.

If that freaks you out, that’s OK. No need to read further…I’m probably not your type anyway.

But if you are still here, then maybe you are ready to listen.

This is a blog is mostly about my experiences and observations about being a woman who found herself trapped in a “relationship” with a man who wanted to be a woman – and how I managed to dig my way out of that by learning that I wasn’t mad, or a bigot, and that plenty women are out there who still haven’t drank the silly juice.

I will write about other stuff as it occurs to me. Or re-blog stuff. But mainly I am hoping that other women who have had similar experiences with teh tranz can contact me here. Together we can share our experiences start a resistance movement. Hopefully a revolution.

  1. I went through what you are going through 11 years ago. There were no resources–books, blogs, etc. where I and my children could find others who had gone through this nightmare. Thank you.

  2. Yes, you’re right. I found a couple of websites for families of autogynephiles. They were either inactive, or they said, “Positive comments only. We don’t allow anyone to say anything negative on this site.” I especially wanted my children, ages 12 and 16 at the time, to be able to communicate with other teens about their experience. I don’t think either child has ever met anyone yet who has been through what they’ve been through with their dad. At this point, ages 23 and 27, they don’t see him and rarely have contact with him. I think they compartmentalize him, putting him back into the closet of their consciousness.

  3. Hi Nate for tea,

I didn’t know where to put this so I’m going to stick it here. It’s a link to a comedy video gender trender posted that’s really funny. Re identity stealing. I thought you’d like it.

  4. Hello Naefearty,

I don’t know if you’ve been following the Government Inquiry on Trans Gender Equality; probably hard to miss it in the UK press. Anyway, having trawled through most of the written submissions I found one which is from a woman who has been through the experience of being used and abused by her ex partner who is MtT. She lived the horror of carrying the ”secret” of this relationship for 12 years and when she could bear no more found nowhere to go to for support. Her submission is written with passion but without self pity. She, like many of us in her situation, is one of the forgotten ones with no voice in the whole trans social and political wave that is seemingly brushing aside the rights of women and children. Here’s the link, I’d be interested in what you think……..http://data.parliament.uk/writtenevidence/committeeevidence.svc/evidencedocument/women-and-equalities-committee/transgender-equality/written/19387.html

(Just wanted to say too that I’m glad that you’re moving on…..good to see that pink toothbrush out and about online again!)
